I'm a little late to the party, but they quite like both MeatMarket, and La Paryse, and as an added bonus, both reviews come with kick-ass drawings.

Aaron Broverman does Diners, Drive-ins and Dives

Howdy!

Unfortunately he decided to use the word "best" in the title of his three part series, and in an attempt to be like the Senate decided to treat all the provinces equally while ignoring the territories.

As you might expect I strongly disagree with his choices on the restaurants that I know.

The Great Great Burger Kitchen gets memoized

Howdy!

Over at EnRoute, they blog about Toronto's Great Burger Kitchen. As one would expect they are positive.

Interesting story

Howdy!

Not quite about hamburgers in Montreal, but Gerald McEachern writes about being next door to Hamburger U.

I disagree 100% with Ted Reader about burgers

Howdy!

Last week Mr. Reader was in town, he was on CTV Montreal, and then spoke with The Gazette all while pushin' his latest and greatest book at Appetite for Books.

In the Gazette article they mention Mr. Reader's 3 rules. Only one is relevant; "don't poke or prod the meat" (which really should be don't squish the meat). Somehow he doesn't think that freshness, or cut is important, nor is when the meat is ground a significant factor, and judging from the CTV Montreal video, he thinks it is a good thing to manipulate the meat like Gaylord Perry manipulated a baseball.
