Johnny eh's in Peterborough goes all out on the social media
Howdy!
Their website is Wordpress, they're tweeting away, and they have their own YouTube channel. But I still doubt I'll be able to make it to Peterborough.
However, they do have videos!

Andy O'Brien touted The Works Gourmet Burger Bistro in the Ottawa Citizen back on St. Patrick's day (I know, I'm a little bit slow here, sorry).

Burgerville’s Chief Cultural Officer
Howdy!
I'm not certain I would be able to keep a straight face if I had to hand out business cards that read "Chief Cultural Officer."
Although judging by Burgerville's PR fluff they should talk to the guys from Smart Burger.

Pino Mario Catalano first, cooked himself a cheeseburger. Then made a short video about it and finally, wrote about it.

And while we're at...
Howdy!
Gotta thank candysweet434, while I was researching other burger scenes I came across their video condensing Good Burger to 9:57 minutes, which just might (hopefully) prevent me from ever having to watch it.

Burger Dating
Howdy!
I'm late to the party (apologies) but earlier this month, Tara, over at Midnight Poutine went on a first date to the Griffintown Cafe. I'm not certain if it was a successful date, as it was the second first date she went on (number one is here, and now she's on number three), but according to her, their burger is "one of the tastiest burgers I've ever had."

Gotta love it when others start reviewing local burger joints. In a nutshell, there's not much difference between the Kobe beef burger and the regular beef burger. The pizza is delicious, and it costs $130 for four people. Thanks Foodaphilia!

The aesthetic experience and the burger
Howdy!
Over at Ratsdeville Ianik Marcil complains about economists impinging on his turf. But one of the most fun things you can do withwhining an essay like this is to put it through a machine translation.
Sentences like Mais l'Art, le vrai, le grand, le transcendant? become But Art, truth, the great, the transcendent? and La consommation d'un hamburger comble un de mes besoins, la contemplation d'une œuvre d'art, non: elle me transforme, elle transforme mon regard sur le monde. becomes Consumption of a hamburger fills one of my needs, the contemplation of a work of art, no, she turns, she turns my world view.
If you don't quite understand my fascination with art and hamburgers, try this, Zeke's Alternate Art #%^$#@! a different blog that I edit.

Economic Analysis
Howdy!
Back at the beginning of the month, farmers in Manitoba were getting slightly more than $900 for each steer sold. Or more succinctly, about $1.30/lb. Needless to say, once it is ready to be cooked, it's slightly more expensive.

Teenagers goofing around at m:brger Toronto
Howdy!
A couple of points:
+ Posing with the owner that way doesn't instill a strong sense of objectivity.
+ Why would you look a the wine menu and then drink martinis and beer?
+ Someone who eats their burger with a knife and fork is obviously from Toronto.
+ That veggie burger is about as homemade as the table.
+ Chili doesn't have beans.
+ Back-lighting your subjects is never good.
